Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, cleaning, and kitchen maintenance, following hygiene and safety standards. Key Highlights: 1. Assistance in the pre-preparation of food and cooking of dishes. 2. Maintenance of cleanliness and order in the work area and utensils. 3. Compliance with hygiene and food safety standards. **Job Profile:** **Position:** Kitchen Assistant **Reports to:** Chef **Team size:** N/A **Gender:** No preference ***Age***: 20 to 40 years old ***Preference:*** Reside in the North Zone of Cuernavaca **Education:** Completed junior high school (senior high school or technical gastronomy program preferred). **Minimum Experience:** 6 months to 1 year preferred in kitchens, restaurants, or hotels. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist in food pre-preparation (washing, disinfecting, peeling, and cutting ingredients). * Keep the work area, utensils, and kitchen equipment clean and organized. * Support chefs in dish preparation as required. * Wash utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used during service. * Organize and store supplies in refrigeration units and storage rooms. * Assist in plating basic dishes or side dishes. * Comply with hygiene and food safety standards. * Take out trash and keep containers clean. * Report shortages or spoilage/damage of food and supplies. **Knowledge:** * Basic food handling. * Hygiene and cleaning standards in kitchens. * Basic use of kitchen utensils and equipment. **Skills:** * Teamwork * Organization * Speed and efficiency * Responsibility * Service-oriented attitude Employment Type: Indefinite-term position Salary: $9,000.00 - $9,452.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Relocation/commuting capability: * 62120, El Monasterio, Mor.: Ability to commute to work without difficulty or willingness to relocate with company-provided relocation support package (preferred) Education: * Incomplete or ongoing bachelor's degree (preferred) Workplace: On-site employment
