Promote innovations to improve the project’s environmental performance. **Vacancy: Environmental Supervisor** **Location:** Poza Rica, Veracruz **Company:** MEGSA – Metalmecánica Especializada del Golfo **Sector:** Construction / Oil & Gas **Job Objective** Ensure implementation of the environmental program across MEGSA projects, guaranteeing impact control, responsible waste management, and compliance with current environmental regulations. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise on-site compliance with environmental requirements per **SEMARNAT, ASEA, PROFEPA**, and other regulatory authorities. * Maintain updated environmental permits, licenses, and records. * Operate the integrated hazardous and non-hazardous waste management system per **NOM-052-SEMARNAT-2005**. * Develop and implement environmental induction programs for personnel. * Track findings from internal and external audits. * Promote innovations that improve the project’s environmental performance. * Halt any activity failing to meet environmental requirements. **Requirements** * **Education:** Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in environmental, chemical, or related fields. * **Experience:** 3 years in similar roles (environmental or safety supervision). * **Knowledge:** * Environmental legislation and regulations. * ISO 14000 management systems. * Hazardous waste management and environmental procedures. * Operation of meteorological stations and sound level meters. * Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Key Competencies and Values** * Methodical, analytical, and disciplined. * Leadership and decision-making ability. * Professional ethics and integrity. * Commitment to continuous improvement. * Effective communication and teamwork. * Results-oriented and compliance-focused.
