




Position Summary: A leading manufacturing company is seeking a Senior International Trade Analyst to manage and certify product origin and ensure compliance with international customs regulations. Opportunity for professional development and career growth An international manufacturing company requires: **Senior International Trade Analyst** (Certificates of Origin / USMCA) Requirements: * Education: Bachelor's degree in International Trade or International Relations (degree holder) * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM / with availability * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas, filters, charts, reports) * **Mandatory**: **ADVANCED ENGLISH** proficiency (fluent spoken, reading, and writing) * SAP knowledge is desirable. * Advanced knowledge of **Certificates of Origin, USMCA**, Customs Law, HTS, general rules of international trade, USMCA rules of origin, tariff classifications, General Import and Export Taxes (TIGIE), interaction with customs brokers, Incoterms, general IMMEX knowledge, tariff classification * Willingness to travel occasionally within Mexico, the USA, and Canada (a valid visa is desirable) * Minimum **2** to **3 years** of experience in **international trade** functions (particularly experienced with **Certificates of Origin**) Main Responsibilities: * Review **Certificates of Origin** issued by our domestic and international suppliers. * Review and prepare the importer’s **USMCA** certificate as the CERTIFIER. * Authenticate the list of Certificates of Origin; otherwise, follow up to ensure our suppliers comply with certification requirements. * Renew **Certificates of Origin** annually. * Verify that suppliers upload information to the portal and ensure the portal is fully completed. (Ongoing monitoring) * Track issuance of short-term “soft certificates” and long-term “hard certificates.” * Conduct tariff classification processes jointly with the customs broker. * Review the General Import and Export Tax (TIGIE) rate according to operational needs. * Analyze and communicate implementation requirements in case of updates to treaty rules and certificates. * Verify integrity and accuracy / detect and correct discrepancies and inaccuracies, and manage changes to our customers’ Certificates of Origin. * Responsible for maintaining **Certificates of Origin** in Mexico, the United States, and Canada to avoid payment of duties in Mexico. * Negotiate with the customs broker for proper approval of Certificates of Origin.
