Focus on developing scalable and robust solutions Position: Java Backend Developer Location: Insurgentes Sur Area (TV Azteca / Torre Airea / Torre 5010 / Torre Esmeralda) Schedule: Standard workday with operational flexibility and availability for monthly on-call duties and project deliveries (occasional night shifts from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM) Salary: $30,000 net monthly + Statutory Benefits + Savings Fund Employment Type: Indefinite-term contract A growing company seeks a Java Backend Developer focused on developing scalable solutions, participating in technical architecture, and building robust applications following sound programming practices. Position Objective: Design and structure scalable technical solutions by developing robust backend services and efficient frontend components, applying clean code principles and design patterns to ensure application maintainability and performance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications (frontend and backend). Build and integrate RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Implement efficient and scalable business logic. Design and administer relational databases. Integrate external services (authentication, payments, messaging, etc.). Perform unit, functional, and integration testing. Participate in defining architecture and making technical decisions. Address production incidents and propose continuous improvements. Document code, processes, and technical components. Technical Requirements: Experience developing with Java version 8 or higher. Consumption and integration of REST and/or GraphQL APIs. Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Knowledge of microservices-based architectures. Proficiency with Git and GitFlow. Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins). Proficiency with relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server. Familiarity with tools such as Maven.
