WE ARE SEEKING A COLLECTION ANALYST To manage and monitor applied and unreconciled collections across the company’s bank accounts with offices, applying collection accounting processes and policies, to guarantee correct revenue application. PRIMARY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Validate applications made via electronic voucher, requesting the deposit receipt; perform accounting entries (if required, request system blocks due to non-compliance per the Collection Policy) to ensure cash received at offices is deposited into bank accounts. Follow up on pending cash cut-offs: Daily Cash Income Closing, using the report generated in SISE, coordinating via email with responsible personnel at each office to complete registration in established tools. Conduct a preliminary review of pending applications for reconciliation against bank statements shared by Bank Reconciliation, per criteria outlined in the Collection User Manual, to reduce the number of pending items requiring office follow-up. Update pending applications (cash, transfers, referenced payments, payment links) twice weekly in the Excel inventory file for reconciliation, entering correct banking data and validating bank receipt data versus deposit data in bank statements to proceed with pending item clarification with offices. Manage all pending reconciliation applications for assigned offices, obtaining bank application receipts to review bank statements, identify discrepancies, clarify and correct banking data. Provide office support regarding the collection application process through the Collection User Manual, aiming to supply tools for correct task execution and error reduction. Handle reclassification requests for claims received via email, verifying whether the request impacts a bank account, comparing deposit receipt data against bank statement data to grant approval and apply technical authorizations for cancellation and correction of applications, tracking these actions. Report clarifications performed to the supervisor, complying with the daily closing process to identify productivity and service & quality indicators. Analyze pending item clarification processes, identifying trends in operational and administrative errors, to propose improvements targeting root-cause correction and optimize process efficiency to reduce incidents. Experience: Minimum one year in Accounts Receivable and/or Payable; intermediate Excel proficiency.
