Position: Software Architect We seek a strategic profile with experience in designing technological solutions, capable of defining robust, scalable architectures aligned with business needs, providing technical leadership to development teams, and ensuring solution quality. Work Location: Remote work; candidates may apply from anywhere in Mexico. Responsibilities: • Define technical architecture for solutions aligned with business objectives. • Design modular and scalable structures. • Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools. • Collaborate with development teams to ensure correct implementation. • Review code and technical designs to guarantee quality standards. • Resolve complex technical issues and support key decisions. • Research technological trends in the financial and insurance sectors. • Propose improvements to processes, tools, and methodologies. • Ensure compliance with regulations (GDPR, PCI-DSS, SOX). • Design architectures with robust security mechanisms. • Create and maintain up-to-date technical documentation. • Serve as liaison between IT and business units. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver on time and as planned. • Train and guide development teams on best practices. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field. • Master’s degree in Software Architecture, IT or related fields is desirable. Experience & Required Skills: Minimum 8 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years in architecture. Experience in solutions for the financial and insurance sectors is desirable. Analytical thinking, ability to solve complex problems, and communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical teams. Languages & Technical Skills Spanish Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and knowledge of agile methodologies.
