Supports incident and accident investigations, as well as training **Date:** May 14, 2026 **Location:** Toluca, MEX, MX, 50200 **Company:** Hubbell Incorporated Job Overview This is a temporary position for 6 months (from June to December 2026\) Provide operational support to the organization's Industrial Safety Management System through regular inspections, implementation of preventive measures, basic staff training, and compliance with applicable regulations. Act as a liaison between the department’s strategy and field operations, promoting a prevention culture, identifying risks, and ensuring correct execution of critical tasks under appropriate controls. A Day In The Life Ensure implementation and follow-up of Safety Management Systems, verifying their proper application to guarantee compliance with standards and continuous improvement. Conduct daily walkthroughs and inspections in plant areas, workshops, warehouses, and high-risk zones to identify unsafe acts and conditions. Verify proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with established procedures. Administer and control work permits for critical activities (e.g., working at heights, confined space entry, cutting and welding, hazardous energy control \- LOTO, among others). Support incident and accident investigations by collecting evidence and contributing to root cause analysis. Deliver operational training and safety talks (e.g., orientation, 5-minute safety meetings, refresher sessions) to employees and contractors. Monitor the status and maintenance of fire-fighting equipment, signage, evacuation routes, and assembly points. Supervise contractor activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper PPE usage. Maintain up-to-date records, logs, attendance lists, and inspection forms. Support organization and execution of drills, emergency response teams, and hands-on training. Collaborate on housekeeping and cleanliness programs, preventive campaigns, and internal audits. Minimum education: Technical degree in Safety and Hygiene / Industrial Engineering or related field Basic/intermediate knowledge of STPS regulations (NOM\-001 to NOM\-035\) Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) energy isolation procedures Proficiency in PPE usage, signage, fire extinguishers, and inspection forms Knowledge of work permits and high-risk tasks (under supervision) Basic skills in risk identification and root cause analysis Basic proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Shift work role (availability to work weekends).**Hubbell Incorporated** Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
