Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Manager with shop-floor leadership experience and expertise in quality management systems for metal-mechanical processes to ensure continuous improvement. Quality control in metal-mechanical processes A metal-mechanical manufacturing company is seeking a Quality Manager with shop-floor leadership, a results-oriented mindset, and solid experience in quality management systems and operational quality control in metal-mechanical processes. Job Mission Ensure administration of the Quality Management System and attainment/maintenance of ISO certifications, as well as ensure quality control of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products, driving continuous improvement in operational processes. Main Responsibilities · Administer and ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015\) · Ensure quality control across three critical stages: o Raw material receipt o Production process (in-process inspections) o Finished product (final release) · Supervise and coordinate the Quality Assurance and Quality Control departments on-site · Establish and enforce acceptance/rejection criteria at each stage of the process · Implement controls, inspection points, and corrective action plans for deviations · Report directly to General Management on results, deviations, and departmental needs · Ensure calibration and control of measurement instruments and material testing · Validate and release products and projects through to closure · Coordinate internal and external audits, as well as follow-up on findings · Plan, direct, and assign tasks to quality personnel · Train staff on quality processes and standards · Maintain the system updated per applicable regulations Required Profile · Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering degree (mandatory) · Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing/metal-mechanical industries · Demonstrable experience in: o Implementation/maintenance of ISO 9001 o Shop-floor quality control (raw materials, production process, and finished products) Technical Knowledge · ISO 9001:2015 · Quality tools: Ishikawa, Pareto, 8D, 5W, Core Tools · Quality control in metal-mechanical processes · AWS standards (desirable) · Internal and external audits · Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications · Statistical Process Control Required Profile · Industrial, Mechanical, or related Engineering degree (mandatory) · Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within manufacturing/metal-mechanical industries · Demonstrable experience in: o Implementation/maintenance of ISO 9001 o Shop-floor quality control (raw materials, production process, and finished products) Technical Knowledge · ISO 9001:2015 · Quality tools: Ishikawa, Pareto, 8D, 5W, Core Tools · Quality control in metal-mechanical processes · AWS standards (desirable) · Internal and external audits · Interpretation of engineering drawings and technical specifications · Statistical Process Control Key Competencies · Leadership and personnel management · Firm, technically grounded decision-making · Results orientation and commitment to continuous improvement · Operational discipline and order · Teamwork · Proactivity and sense of urgency · Outgoing personality and strong shop-floor presence Willingness to travel between both facilities We Offer: Statutory and above-statutory benefits Grocery vouchers Savings fund Life insurance Savings box and more...
