




Position Summary: Oversee the store’s overall operations, lead the team, and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service and proper operational processes. Key Highlights: 1. Staff development and continuous improvement Supervise overall store operations across all areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to employees under your supervision to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, foster an optimal work environment, and deliver excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are located in their assigned positions within the store and that physical inventory matches system records by executing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer consultation and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for improvement to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled working hours and AutoZone’s established dress code; interact with each other and our customers at the highest levels of respect, friendliness, and professionalism; and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report periodically to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improvements by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable consumptions within the team. * Assign and monitor tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as review daily cash count reports for the main register, perform cash sweeps, and conduct cash register closings for supervised staff, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees use AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or using in-store test stations, thereby helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of experience as a supervisor in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for work schedule AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
