**Gym Coordinator (School)** **Location:** School Campus – Cuernavaca, Morelos **Position:** Full-time **Start Date:** Immediate **Job Description** We are seeking a **Gym Coordinator** with academic training in physical activity, sports, or physiotherapy to coordinate, supervise, and promote the safe use of the school gymnasium. The candidate’s primary objective will be to support students and staff in using the facility appropriately, foster healthy habits, and ensure compliance with safety protocols. **Responsibilities** * Supervise gym usage and ensure a safe environment for students and staff. * Guide students in the correct use of exercise machines and training equipment. * Provide basic support regarding workout routines, warm-ups, and proper techniques. * Manage gym access, operating hours, and spatial organization. * Report incidents, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards. * Promote regular physical activity and healthy lifestyle habits. * Support sports events organized by the school. * Maintain inventory and ensure the good condition of sports and training equipment. **Academic Requirements** (Must possess one of the following qualifications) * Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education * Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy * Certified Sports Coach * Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences * Bachelor’s Degree in Sports and Wellness * Higher Technician in Physical Conditioning * Higher Technician in Socio-sports Teaching and Animation **Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience in gyms, sports centers, schools, or physical conditioning settings. * Experience working with children and adolescents. * Knowledge of injury prevention and appropriate training techniques. **Competencies** * Friendly, youth-oriented interpersonal skills. * Leadership and ability to establish usage guidelines. * Observation skills and capacity to identify risks. * Organizational ability and discipline. * Effective communication with teachers, coaches, and sports coordinators. **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * A professional and respectful school environment. * Opportunity to participate in the school’s sports programs.
