Stay updated on tax and social security changes **JOB OBJECTIVE:** Ensure the company fulfills all its tax obligations efficiently, minimizing risks and optimizing its tax burden. This is not merely an operational role; it must also proactively plan the company’s tax processes to maximize tax benefits and ensure full compliance with applicable legal regulations. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Calculate and monitor payment of federal and state taxes, social security contributions, and INFONAVIT contributions. · Prepare, review, and file informative tax returns. · Conduct tax projections for year-end closing. · Prepare and file the company’s annual tax returns. · Respond to requests, summonses, and audits from tax authorities (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT). · Ensure compliance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPIORPI) and submit required notices to SAT. · Review payroll calculations and ensure correct withholding and remittance of employee taxes. · Register all construction projects in SIROC (IMSS) and maintain up-to-date tracking according to the project schedule. · Collect and organize information regarding contractor project registrations and terminations, as well as contractor contribution payments. · Stay current on tax and social security changes and inform the company to implement necessary adjustments. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** · Fulfill tax obligations timely and correctly to avoid fines and penalties. · Ensure accurate filing of informative and annual tax returns. · Provide precise tax projections to support the company’s financial planning. · Respond promptly and accurately to authority requests and audits. · Comply with LFPIORPI and keep SAT notices up to date. · Ensure payroll accurately reflects taxes and social security contributions. · Maintain accurate and up-to-date SIROC construction project records. · Guarantee compliance with social security obligations for both the company and contractors. · Timely inform the company of regulatory and tax changes. · Provide internal support and control to improve tax and social security compliance processes. **REQUIREMENTS:** · Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (professional license required) · Postgraduate degree in Taxation preferred · Minimum 3 years of experience in tax-related functions · Experience in residential development companies preferred · Experience in accounting departments preferred · Proficiency in accounting systems. **KNOWLEDGE:** · Knowledge of tax compliance calculations (supplementary returns, VAT, DIOT, etc.) · Payroll knowledge (taxes, social security, INFONAVIT, etc.) · Familiarity with LFPIORPI · Up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and applicable provisions. · General accounting knowledge. · Knowledge of applications provided by government authorities. · Proficiency in Office suite, especially Excel. · Experience with ERP systems, preferably Enkontrol. **SKILLS:** · Organization · Analytical and synthetic ability · Teamwork · Ability to work under pressure · Teamwork · Openness to change **PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:** Documents evidencing timely and proper fulfillment of obligations: a) Acknowledgment receipts b) Working papers **WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS:** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Statutory benefits. * Major medical expense insurance.
