Collaborative role coordinating with multiple internal departments. **Job Objective:** To accurately analyze project concepts and requirements received from the Project Manager—including necessary materials, processes, and resources—in order to develop precise quotations and determine the total cost of projects to be presented to clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Project Analysis:** Receive project information and concepts from the Project Manager and analyze technical requirements, material specifications, measurements, and manufacturing processes. * **Sourcing \& Quotation:** Solicit, compare, and manage quotes from material suppliers and external service providers to secure the best pricing. * **Cost Calculation:** Calculate comprehensive direct and indirect costs, including labor, materials, production timelines, transportation, and profit margins (utilidades). * **Quote Generation:** Prepare detailed, high\-quality project quotations for review and final approval by the immediate supervisor. * **Database Management:** Maintain and continuously update the internal database of costs, pricing, and approved suppliers. * **Internal Coordination:** Coordinate closely with the Purchasing, Production, and Warehouse departments to validate material prices, lead times, and availability. * **Cost Tracking:** Monitor approved projects to perform a post\-mortem comparison between estimated costs and actual incurred costs. * **Cost Optimization:** Proactively propose alternative materials or manufacturing processes to optimize project costs without compromising quality standards. **Requirements:** * Technical or Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field. * A minimum of 2 years of proven experience in cost analysis, estimating, or project quoting. * Demonstrable knowledge of manufacturing materials and processes (e.g., wood, metal, fiberglass, textiles). * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with calculation tools or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. * Ability to accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or engineering specifications. * Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills. * Previous experience in furniture or fixture manufacturing is a plus. * Ability to hold a conversation in English. **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday; 7am to 5pm Job Type: Full\-time Idioma: * Inglés (Deseable) Work Location: In person
