Position Summary: We are seeking an Infrastructure Assistant for technology maintenance and management, ensuring the operation of equipment and systems, and providing user support. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of computer systems A 100% Mexican company, leader in its industry as a retailer of bathroom fixtures, flooring, and tiles, with over 350 branches across Mexico, is looking for: **INFRASTRUCTURE ASSISTANT** **Position Objective** Provide technology infrastructure maintenance and management, ensuring proper operation of equipment, cabling, servers, databases, and communication systems, while maintaining a high level of service to users and branches. **Main Responsibilities** * Basic configuration and programming in Java. * Database administration and maintenance (SQL). * CLI usage and server administration. * Installation and maintenance of structured cabling. * On-site and remote technical support to internal users and branches. * Quotation management and vendor relations. * Preventive and corrective maintenance of computers and telephone systems. * Addressing operational requirements from branches. * Occasional travel for cabling work or specialized support. **Requirements** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field. Minimum Experience: 1 year in technical support and infrastructure. Availability to work Monday through Saturday (Saturday: half-day) **Technical Knowledge:** * JavaScript (basic) * SQL and basic CLI * Basic structured cabling * Server and database administration (optional) * Hardware and software support * Enterprise telephony (optional) * Networks and communication protocols (desirable) * Operating systems: Windows / Mac / Linux (optional) **Knowledge assessment will be conducted** **Compensation and Benefits** * Direct employment by the company * Full formal registration * Weekly payment via BBVA * **Salary: $12,745 gross monthly** * **Food vouchers: $1,657 monthly** * Annual profit-sharing * Christmas bonus: 30 days (after 6 months) * Savings fund: 5% * Vacation premium: 25% * Employee loans (up to 45 days’ salary) available after 1 year of seniority Interested candidates should apply through this channel.
