SEEKING MOLD MECHANIC (INJECTION) **Competencies** Teamwork / sense of urgency / problem solving / working under pressure **Responsibilities** * Perform **preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance** on production molds. * Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble molds according to established procedures. * Identify and correct **wear, damage, or misalignments** in cavities, cores, and components. * Adjust and repair **ejection systems, slides, guides, bushings, and bolts**. * Verify and maintain **mold cooling and heating systems**. * Carry out **polishing, fine-tuning, and calibration** of critical surfaces. * Interpret **mechanical drawings, tolerances, and technical specifications**. * Support **mold mounting and dismounting on machines**. * Diagnose faults affecting **product quality** (flash, deformations, short shots). * Record activities in **maintenance logs** and control forms. * Coordinate with production and quality departments to **reduce downtime**. * Request and manage necessary **spare parts and tools**. * Propose **technical improvements** to extend mold service life.
