**Position: Assistant Controller** Location: Córdoba, Veracruz. Department: Finance / Controller’s Office **Position Objective** Coordinate, supervise, and control the company’s financial and accounting information, ensuring compliance with Financial Reporting Standards (NIF), budgetary control, and timely delivery of information for decision-making and external audits. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise accurate financial and accounting recordkeeping. * Coordinate monthly financial closings. * Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts (customers, suppliers, inventories, fixed assets). * Supervise budgetary control and variance analysis. * Prepare for and support external financial audits. * Coordinate the accounting and cost accounting teams. * Ensure adherence to financial reporting deadlines. * Participate in improving financial processes. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (mandatory). * Minimum 7 years of experience in controller or assistant controller roles. * Solid knowledge of NIF, budgeting, and financial analysis. * Intermediate–advanced Excel skills. * Experience managing external audits. * Leadership and analytical skills. **Key Competencies** Analytical thinking, leadership, integrity, results orientation, problem solving, and collaborative teamwork.
