Foster a strong, positive work environment and promote BRP values **Section I:** General Description Responsible for coordinating the design, conceptualization, validation, and implementation of processes, tools, fixtures, equipment, and machinery that create an environment enabling assembly plant employees to work safely, achieve high\-quality product standards, and improve process efficiency to a world\-class level. Plant organization must always consider the following key concepts: Lean Manufacturing (VA/NVA), Continuous Improvement, 5S, Total Quality Management, Total Productive Maintenance, and One\-Piece Flow. Coordinate Mechanical Engineer activities for operations and project development, including: New equipment and tooling introduction Poka\-Yoke systems Testing devices Resolve quality issues using structured problem\-solving methodologies (PSP, DMAIC, Workshops). **Lead Engineering Department initiatives related to:** Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) ISO 9000 PFMEA Balanced Scorecard (BSC) objectives Risk analysis for machines, equipment, and tools Coordinate and develop Mechanical Engineering team performance aligned with Success Factor objectives. Lead Mechanical Engineering activities for new project introductions (NPD strategies). **Implement short\- and long\-term improvements in:** HSE Product and Process Quality (PPQ) Process efficiency Cost reduction Lead and coordinate Capital and Operational Expenditures (CAPEX/OPEX). Enforce all BRP policies and administer disciplinary actions when required. Ensure clean, organized, and accident\-preventive work environments from process design stages. Guarantee that machines, equipment, and tools are robust enough to enable production of high\-quality vehicles that meet company standards. Ensure processes, equipment, and tools maximize the VA/NVA ratio, considering workforce realities and leveraging advanced technologies. Ensure inclusive workstation design. Support teams in problem resolution. Conduct annual performance reviews for each engineer using SMART objectives and PMP follow\-up processes. Provide solid development plans for each engineer based on SWOT analysis. Promote and maintain a positive work environment, making adjustments as necessary through office environment and individual programs. As Department Leader, drive innovation and continuous pursuit of excellence. Ensure assigned projects are completed on time using PMO tools and standards. Identify, manage, and communicate risks; actively participate in the development and maintenance of PFMEAs to ensure proper implementation of risk\-adapted countermeasures on assembly lines. Build a continuous improvement culture using Lean Manufacturing principles (BRPMS). Ensure cross\-functional collaboration by leading, developing, and training employees in a dynamic environment. Identify and generate business opportunities by participating in plant strategic planning processes. Control departmental spending to meet financial objectives (CAPEX/OPEX). Actively promote BRP workplace culture, demonstrating a winning attitude and participating in activities that support the company’s CSR philosophy. Follow and promote BRP values and behaviors within the team. Ensure a safe work environment and assume full responsibility for all safety\-related matters. Complete all planned quality and training\-related courses on time. Identify and report any quality or compliance issues and support corrective actions. Participate in the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements related to ISO 9001:2015\. Apply and promote BRP’s Quality Policy.
