Description
Under direct supervision, assists manufacturing engineers in evaluating and implementing changes to documents and processes; participates in projects for resource improvement and optimization; generates documentation related to manufacturing processes, such as flowcharts, work instructions, and visual aids; participates in prototype runs, new product introductions, and product transfers. And all administrative activities required to perform the function.
Prepares, updates, and submits for approval manufacturing process documentation (WI, AV, inspections, traveler sheets, checklists, etc…)
Time studies and line balancing support.
Data collection.
Production facility preparation.
Participates in product manufacturability verification.
Supports identification of requirements (area, supplies, facilities, equipment, and machinery), layout changes, time studies, and implementation of engineering changes.
Trains trainers.
General production support.
**Education and Experience Required**
Technical degree in production systems or high school diploma; student or incomplete degree preferably in industrial engineering or similar fields (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electronics, Electromechanical, Systems)
English proficiency: 60% desirable
Technical drawing.
Basic SAP knowledge
1–2 years of experience in a similar position
