Active participation in installation projects **Electromechanical Technician Position Profile** We are looking for an electromechanical technician with skill and attention to detail to execute and assist in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and hydrosanitary systems, ensuring compliance with drawings, installation quality, and industrial safety standards. **Main Responsibilities** ***Electrical Assemblies*** * Conduit and Wiring: Installation of conduit piping (thick/thin walls), ladder-type cable trays, ducts, and low- and medium-voltage cable laying. * Basic Connections: Assistance in panel wiring, lighting fixture connections, outlets, and three-phase/single-phase motor connections. * Supports: Fabrication and securing of supports for cable trays and electrical conduits. ***Mechanical Assemblies*** * Equipment Installation: Assistance in anchoring, leveling, and aligning rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, generators, fans). * Metal Structures: Assistance in assembling bases, racks, and light structures (cutting, marking, and drilling). * Power Transmission: Assistance in installing belts, pulleys, and couplings. ***Hydraulic and Hydrosanitary Assemblies*** * Piping: Cutting, threading, grooving, or thermal fusion of pipes (Copper, CPVC, PVC Hydraulic/Sanitary, Carbon Steel, Galvanized). * Valves and Fittings: Installation of valves, filters, and control fittings in process or service lines. * Pumping Equipment: Interconnection of hydro-pneumatic systems, sump pits, and fire protection systems (FPS). ***General Services and Others*** * HVAC Systems: Assistance in installing air conditioning ductwork, mini-splits, or air handling units (AHUs). * Pneumatic Systems: Laying compressed air lines. * Minor Civil Works: Creating grooves, patching, or concrete anchoring for installation routing. **Requirements** ***Required Experience*** * Duration: Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in similar roles (construction sites, installation contractors, or industrial maintenance). * Education: Technical High School Diploma (CONALEP, CBTIS or equivalent), TSU, or related degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, Electricity, or Mechanics. * Certifications (Desirable): DC\-3 for working at heights, cutting and welding, or electrical safety. * Specific Experience: Active participation in installation projects (new construction or renovations), not limited to preventive maintenance only. ***Essential Technical Knowledge*** * Drawing Interpretation: Basic ability to read isometric drawings, single-line diagrams, and installation plans. * Power Tool Usage: Expert operation of drills, rotary hammers, grinders (polishers), electric threaders, and pipe groovers. * Measurement Instruments: Use of multimeters (ammeter/voltmeter), calipers, tape measures, and levels (laser or bubble). * Joints: Knowledge of basic welding (electric arc) and pipe welding (solder/silver for copper, solvent cement for PVC). ***Competencies and Skills*** * Attention to Detail and Quality: Ability to deliver aesthetically pleasing installations (straight pipes, correct leveling, orderly cabling). * Industrial Safety: Strict awareness of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage and lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures. * Physical Stamina: Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift heavy materials. * Proactivity: Ability to anticipate materials required by the foreman or master technician to avoid assembly delays. **We Offer** * Schedule: Monday to Friday \- 8 AM to 6 PM * Statutory Benefits * Salary: $4,000 MXN gross per week (weekly payment) * Uniforms Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting from $4,000\.00 per week Benefits: * Option for indefinite-term contract * Free uniforms Experience: * Metal structure assembly: 3 years (Desirable) * Electrical systems: 2 years (Desirable) * Mechanical assembly: 3 years (Desirable) Willingness to travel: * 75% (Desirable) Workplace: On-site employment
