Supervise overall operations across all store areas, serving as a role model for your team. Provide necessary direction and feedback to your direct reports to coordinate proper execution of store operational processes, creating an optimal work environment and delivering excellent service to our customers. * Authorize damaged and non-damaged returns resulting from defective merchandise, incorrect employee recommendations, or catalog errors—always placing the customer first and guaranteeing their full satisfaction. * Ensure all parts and products are in their assigned locations within the store and that physical inventory matches system records, performing flawless weekly inventory maintenance tasks. * Supervise store operational activities, serving as a role model, and ensure employees provide customer guidance and utilize all available tools—including the electronic catalog and diagnostic and testing equipment provided by AutoZone—to deliver reliable advice and genuine solutions to our customers’ needs, while also helping prevent merchandise returns through this practice. * Identify subordinates’ strengths and areas for development to assign appropriate tasks, recognize strong performance, and provide feedback when improvement or training opportunities are identified. * Supervise that all employees comply daily with their scheduled work hours and AutoZone’s dress code, interact respectfully, courteously, and professionally with each other and our customers, and apply AutoZone’s guidelines and values. * Review and analyze the Profit & Loss (P\&L) report during each period to identify opportunities for expense control and contribute to improving them by promoting a culture of savings across all controllable expenditures within the team. * Assign and follow up on tasks for area supervisors—including planogram setup, merchandise placement, warehouse cleaning, restrooms, cafeteria, sales floor, parking lot—as well as reviewing daily cash counts for the main register, performing cash sweeps, and conducting cash register closings for direct reports, following AutoZone-provided procedures. * Supervise and ensure employees wear AutoZone-provided safety equipment—including belts, gloves, aprons, and goggles—when handling merchandise, performing vehicle tests, or working at in-store test stations, helping prevent workplace accidents and ensuring a safe environment for our employees. * High school diploma * One to two years of supervisor experience in retail, warehouse, or store environments * Flexible availability for scheduling AutoZone Mexico is the leading distributor of automotive parts and accessories in the Americas.
