




DESCRIPTION At GPO, we are looking for an IT Operations Supervisor for a Petrochemical company in Sinaloa. This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the efficient operation of the company's network, client servers, databases, and equipment. This includes managing IT personnel responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware issues. The IT Operations Supervisor will also work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and other department heads to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1 Ensure that capital and operational projects, as well as routine work activities, are carried out safely, within budget, established deadlines, required quality, and in compliance with governance policies and procurement procedures. 2 Develop the organization's HSSE&Q (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality) initiatives for plants and various departments within the stipulated timeframes. 3 Lead operational planning and IT department projects, organizing and negotiating the allocation of IT resources. 4 Define business and system requirements for the implementation of new technologies. 5 Oversee reports and documentation related to network and system operations. 6 Develop maintenance schedules for network and system equipment and conduct feasibility studies and system testing. 7 Develop and implement all functional policies and procedures, including those related to network architecture, standards, procurement, and service delivery. 8 Manage the implementation, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrading, and support of IT systems, including networks, data centers, servers, personal computers, operating systems, and associated hardware. 9 Authorize the purchase of equipment and supplies. 10 Research and stay updated on the latest technologies and solutions. REQUIREMENTS Advanced English Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Proven experience in IT infrastructure planning and development. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of: i. Enterprise Software Systems, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. ii. Server and Network Infrastructure Environments. iii. Software development methodologies. iv. Personal computing and communication environments. v. Information security and risk management. vi. Thorough understanding of business processes. vii. Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives. viii. In-depth knowledge of applicable data privacy laws and practices. ix. In-depth knowledge of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures. x. In-depth knowledge of project management principles. Skills and Competencies i.
