Achieving **1 billion** in revenue—a challenge we are confident will become another success story written together, thanks to the **collaboration** and **talent** of our people. **What are we looking for?** **Senior Backend Java Developer** **Academic Requirements and Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Systems**, **Computer Engineering**, **Computing**, or related fields. * Minimum **5 years** of experience as a backend developer with a focus on microservices. * Prior experience in the **financial sector** is desirable. * English: **Intermediate** (able to read technical documentation and communicate effectively in work environments). * Courses or certifications in Java, DevOps, Cloud, or Agile methodologies (desirable). **Technical Skills (must have)** **Java Language and Ecosystem** * Java 8 or higher. * Exception handling, memory management, Garbage Collection, and Heap optimization. * Concurrency and multithreading. * Object-oriented programming and **SOLID** principles. * Advanced debugging techniques. **Frameworks and Libraries** * **Spring Boot**, **Spring Core** (dependency injection / Inversion of Control – IOC). * **Spring Data JPA / Hibernate**. * **Spring Security** and **Spring Cloud** (desirable). **RESTful APIs and Services** * Design, development, and consumption of RESTful APIs. * **Swagger / OpenAPI**. * Postman or SoapUI. **Containers and Orchestration** * **Docker** (creation of Dockerfiles). * **OpenShift** (practical usage and deployment—not just theoretical knowledge). * **Kubernetes** (basic to intermediate level). **DevOps and CI/CD** * Experience with **Jenkins**, **GitLab CI/CD**, or **GitHub Actions**. * Configuration of custom pipelines. **Monitoring and Logging** * Tools such as **Prometheus**, **Grafana**, **ELK Stack** (ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana). **Security** * Implementation of authentication protocols such as **OAuth 2\.0** and **JWT**. * Best practices for secure exception handling. **Testing** * Unit and integration testing using **JUnit** and **Mockito**. **Architecture** * Experience with **microservices architecture**. * Knowledge of **hexagonal architecture** or layered architecture. **Methodologies** * Experience working in **Agile** environments (Scrum). **Desirable (nice to have)** * Experience with **NoSQL databases** (MongoDB or similar). * Experience with **messaging systems** (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Experience building projects from scratch. Work Modality: Predominantly remote; occasional office visits may be required, but these are very infrequent.
