The responsibilities of a maintenance assistant include preserving, repairing, and maintaining facilities, equipment, etc. in good condition. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance in electricity, plumbing, painting, carpentry, air conditioning, among others * Inspect, diagnose, and repair malfunctions * Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance materials * Comply with safety regulations * Regularly inspect machinery and systems to ensure proper operation * Carry out minor repairs for irregularities * Assist in the replacement of equipment, parts, and systems * Keep work area clean Skills and Knowledge To be a maintenance assistant, knowledge in the following areas may be required: Electricity, Air Conditioning, Electronics, Electrical Control, Masonry, Painting.
