**Job Summary / Misión Del Puesto:** Lead the Payroll Organization for Latin America, ensuring standardization, efficiency, compliance, and digital transformation of payroll processes across all countries in the region. Establish and regularly report operational performance indicators for the payroll area. * Digital Transformation * Design, implement, and maintain standardized and scalable payroll processes (including corresponding accounting records) across the LATAM region, promoting operational efficiency and employee experience. * Identify and implement opportunities for automation, digitization, and improvement of manual or fragmented payroll or accounting processes. * Lead the implementation or migration of payroll platforms. * Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and key users to ensure deliverables, timelines, and data quality. Act as a digital change ambassador within the payroll area and with regional stakeholders. * Regulatory Compliance * Ensure regulatory compliance in payroll matters with labor, tax, and social security regulatory agencies across the LATAM region (SAT, IMSS, SUNAT, AFIP, etc.) * Execute and establish continuous improvement initiatives for the calculation and payment processes of employer-employee social security contributions, tax obligations, and social security payments for all active legal entities, following schedules set by authorities and internal requirements. * Guarantee timely and accurate remittance of withholdings issued by authorities in labor, social security, or tax matters. Design and implement processes that ensure compliance and recordkeeping of employee tax obligations, government decrees, and new applicable regulations. * Audit Management and Follow-up Lead the execution of external audits (PwC, IMSS, Fair Trade, Elevate, SAT, etc.) and achieve satisfactory or compliant results. * Leadership and Influence * Lead distributed teams across different LATAM countries, ensuring alignment with global objectives. * Foster a culture of collaboration, operational excellence, and internal customer orientation. * Manage the team based on high performance standards using clear KPIs to measure overall team performance. * Identify and develop key talent within the regional payroll team, creating succession plans and a ready talent pipeline. * Promote continuous learning in legislation, technology, and best practices.
