**Walbro**, an automotive company located in **Los Mochis, Sin.**, is hiring a **Quality Control Engineer** for the **Die Casting** area. **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineer, Quality Control Engineer, or related field * Minimum 3 years of experience in Die Casting processes. * Certification as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred **Experience:** * Experience with quality standards, quality management systems, and lean manufacturing tools. * Knowledge of statistical process tools. * Scrap analysis, PPMS. * Interpretation of engineering drawings. * Corrective actions using the 8D methodology. * Knowledge of control plan development, PPAP, RMA, GR&R, CPK, SPC. * Supervision of personnel under direct responsibility **Job Responsibilities:** * Implements and installs statistical sampling systems, procedures, and techniques for quality control processes. * Controls production processes through material release and necessary inspection monitoring to ensure product quality per shift. * Implements specific inspection mechanisms, equipment, and devices for products. * Reviews and analyzes statistical data on product quality by production line, shift, department, and other classifications to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. * Develops the control plan for the assigned area. * Implements and follows the control and sampling plan in the process. * Prepares PPAP documentation for the assigned area. * Monitors PPMS and scrap levels within the assigned area. * Maintains CPK control for critical operations via control charts. * Analyzes master behavior. * Ensures inspection and test equipment are used according to established calibration requirements. * Ensures 100% material release. * Formulates or assists in formulating quality standards, policies, programs, plans, procedures, and practices. * Ensures appropriate and continuous controls over all assigned activities affecting quality. * Addresses MRTs from the area. * Participates in developing and completing internal and external corrective actions.
