DESCRIPTION At Global Executive, we are seeking an experienced **Risk and Business Continuity Superintendent** to lead and manage teams focused on ensuring safety, emergency preparedness, and continuity of plant operations—both internally and in coordination with the community, institutions, and society at large. Reporting to the HSR Manager, the **Risk and Emergency Response Coordinator** is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks in the ammonia production plant, as well as for developing, implementing, and coordinating emergency response plans. The objective is to ensure the safety of employees, facilities, and the environment in the event of emergencies, while complying with local and international industrial safety regulations. As part of their key responsibilities: Industrial risk and safety management includes identifying and assessing operational, chemical, fire, and explosion risks within the plant. It also involves developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, with particular emphasis on those related to ammonia production and handling. Emergency planning and response involves preparing and maintaining corresponding plans, including evacuation protocols, ammonia leak management, and fire control. It also includes coordinating and supervising periodic emergency drills, both internally and in collaboration with external authorities. It is essential to ensure the availability of necessary equipment and resources for responding to emergencies, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), communication systems, and first aid kits. During an emergency, the coordinator must lead the response by coordinating internal teams (security, maintenance, operations) and external teams (firefighters, local authorities). REQUIREMENTS **COMPETENCIES: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Safety, or related fields. Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to risk management and emergency response in chemical or manufacturing industries. Knowledge of applicable industrial safety and environmental regulations. **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:** Knowledge of industrial processes, hazardous materials handling, and risk mitigation techniques. Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety procedures. Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Effective written and verbal communication skills in emergencies. **CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES:** Certification in Industrial Safety or Risk Management (preferred). Training in first aid and rescue (desirable). Driver’s license (desirable).
