




Job Summary: We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the automotive sector, responsible for overseeing equipment maintenance and coordinating the team to ensure timely project execution and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Lead maintenance in the automotive sector with a focus on lighting. 2. Coordinate teams and projects for installation, repair, and maintenance. 3. Supervise safety and quality standards across all operations. We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join the SL MEX SLP team. We are an automotive-sector company specializing in lighting, supplying HYUNDAI, KIA, GM, and BMW. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: • Supervise maintenance of all equipment, including cooling towers. • Coordinate and support the maintenance team in daily activities, fostering a collaborative and safe work environment. • Ensure timely execution of installation, repair, and preventive/corrective maintenance projects. • Possess solid knowledge of industrial electricity, plumbing, PLC operation, and general maintenance. • Plan, supervise, and track facility improvement and expansion projects. • Coordinate and supervise contractors, verifying that work complies with established standards and timelines. • Evaluate technical and financial alternatives for new installations or services. • Compare costs of required goods or services to achieve optimal cost-benefit ratios. • Plan future facility development aligned with business strategic objectives. • Lead and manage operational changes while minimizing disruption to core activities. • Ensure personnel and contractor work complies with safety specifications and policies. • Respond effectively to emergencies or critical incidents. • Submit progress, budget, and project outcome reports to the department manager. • Comply with and enforce industrial safety, environmental, and quality regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Work Experience: • Minimum 5–6 years of experience in general maintenance of industrial facilities. • 1–2 years of experience in maintenance supervision roles. • Demonstrable knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigeration systems. Education: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask. • Ability to understand and comply with general maintenance and administrative policies and procedures. • General knowledge of maintenance and engineering principles and methods. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. • Ability to interact effectively with other departments, customers, and suppliers. • Positive attitude. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced production environment. • Advanced English • Preferred experience in automotive and lighting companies Benefits: We offer benefits exceeding statutory requirements.
