Cross-platform software design (Linux, Windows) We are looking for a Rust Developer to design a zero-to-one video streaming engineering system. The role is cross-platform (Linux, Windows), with emphasis on performance, proprietary architecture, and stress testing. You will autonomously manage your own deliverables and validate architecture with area leads. **Required Experience:** * At least 2 years of experience with Rust. Extensive C and C\+\+ experience is desirable. * Intermediate proficiency in Borrowing and Ownership: \&mut, race conditions, memory management. * Error handling using algebraic types: Enums, error operators, unwrap(). * Basic experience in safe concurrent programming: Send, Sync, Arc, Mutex. * Basic experience with C/C\+\+ (minimum 1 year) — unsafe memory handling. **Also Valued:** * Memory safety, pattern matching, and zero\-cost abstractions. * Experience designing APIs, desktop applications, or web applications. **Responsibilities:** * Zero-to-one video streaming engineering design. * Cross-platform software design (Linux, Windows). * Autonomous deliverable management. * Architecture validation of components with area leads. * Application testing and stress testing. **Soft Skills:** * Strong communication and assertiveness. * Passion for research and using tools to solve problems. * Proactive problem-solving. **Benefits:** * Salary in USD (CONTRACTOR). * Minimum 1-year contract, renewable. **Requirements:** * Must reside in CDMX or be willing to relocate.
