Distribution Supervisor Department: Logistics / Distribution **Job Objective** Supervise and coordinate distribution and finished product delivery activities, ensuring proper route execution, on-time delivery, resource optimization, and compliance with safety, quality, and customer service standards. Key Responsibilities * Plan and assign delivery routes according to orders and priorities. * Supervise drivers and assistants. * Verify correct loading of vehicles, ensuring cargo integrity and accuracy. * Ensure adherence to vehicle departure and arrival schedules. * Control returns of products, packaging, and delivery proof documents. * Monitor key distribution metrics (route compliance, punctuality, incidents). * Manage delivery incidents and provide timely solutions to operational issues. * Oversee proper use and maintenance of trucks. * Comply with safety and hygiene policies during loading and unloading operations. * Prepare daily and weekly operational reports. * Coordinate activities with warehouse, sales, and customer service departments. * Promote a collaborative, high-performance work environment. Education: Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Logistics, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2 years supervising distribution or logistics operations; experience in fast-moving consumer goods is preferred. * Knowledge: * Route planning and fleet management. * Inventory and returns handling. * Transportation and road safety regulations. * Leadership and operational personnel management. * Planning and organization. * Problem solving. * Effective communication. * Decision making under pressure. * Availability: Willingness to work extended hours if required.
