




Job Summary: Provide financial and operational support to Finance Managers in Canada and the United States for the TX Core and CSA maintenance operations portfolios. Key Highlights: 1. The objective of this position is to support the NAM TX Core maintenance operations portfolio and the CSA portfolio by providing financial and operational support to Finance Managers in Canada and the United States.**Job Description** =================== **Key Responsibilities** --------------------------------- * Work closely with the Operations team to review project costs and monitor billing and revenue. * Perform deferred cost reviews and unbilled project balance reviews for projects under your scope, supporting reduction of such balances. * Validate cost and revenue pacing for assigned projects. * Manage activities in SAP / PMx ERP, including forecast updates, settlement runs, and other financial transactions. * Support accounting close activities, such as: + Recording manual journal entries + Downloading reports + Preparing comparative actual vs. forecast files * Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results. * Support monthly and quarterly financial closings. * Assist in financial project analysis, including revenue, costs, and accounting-focused reviews. * Ensure compliance with controllership policies, financial controls, and internal guidelines. * Use tools such as Smartsheet and Excel to analyze project performance and financial variances. * Provide daily support to Finance Managers responsible for Canada and U.S. portfolios. **Desired Profile** ------------------ * Proactive individual with strong communication skills. * Strong organizational skills. * Proficiency in Excel. * Basic ERP knowledge is a plus. * Accounting focus and attention to detail. * Ability to follow financial policies, procedures, and controllership guidelines. **Requirements** -------------- * Fluent English required. * Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. * Possess basic analytical, organizational, decision-making, and communication skills. * Have accounting knowledge or academic background related to Accounting. * Must be enrolled from the 4th semester onward. * Must have at least one year remaining until graduation. * Availability to work full-time, 40 hours per week. **Inclusion and Diversity** -------------------------- At GE Vernova, we value your unique identity, background, and experiences.
