




We are looking for a kitchen manager to oversee daily operations related to the restaurant’s kitchen. The kitchen manager’s responsibilities include supervising food preparation and cooking, maintaining appropriate kitchen inventory levels, and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To succeed in this role, one must be able to manage kitchen staff and guide them to serve high-quality food on time. Ultimately, the manager is responsible for ensuring all dishes have excellent presentation and that diners enjoy a pleasant culinary experience. General duties: * Lead kitchen staff and coordinate food orders. * Supervise food preparation and cooking. * Check plating and food temperature. * Monitor and supervise portion sizes for dishes. * Create and manage kitchen team work schedules and role assignments. * Continuously research and develop new dishes—whether seasonal or permanent—to constantly improve the menu. * Place food and kitchen equipment orders as needed. * Train kitchen staff on preparation tasks and plating techniques. * Store food following safety practices. * Prepare weekly and monthly cost reports. * Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area.
