**Job Objective** Ensure proper planning, execution, and control of plant production, guaranteeing compliance with production schedules, product quality, efficient use of resources, order, safety, and timely order delivery. **Main Responsibilities** **Production Planning and Control** * Plan daily and weekly production according to orders, plant capacity, and raw material availability. * Ensure on-time and accurate fulfillment of the production schedule. * Record daily production output and generated waste. * Monitor raw material consumption per order. * Reduce downtime and ensure efficient use of machinery and resources. **Inventory and Materials** * Maintain up-to-date raw material inventory records. * Record material and order receipts and issuances. * Coordinate with the purchasing department for timely supply requests. * Prevent production stoppages due to material shortages. **Personnel Supervision** * Provide clear and direct instructions to operational staff. * Supervise operators’ correct performance. * Identify operational deviations and take immediate corrective actions. * Assign and redistribute tasks according to production needs. **Quality** * Supervise product quality throughout the entire production process. * Ensure products meet established specifications. * Reduce rework and non-conforming products. **Safety** * Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene protocols. * Verify proper use of personal protective equipment. * Prevent incidents and accidents in the plant. * Report and correct safety violations. **Logistics and Coordination** * Coordinate shipping and delivery logistics. * Ensure adherence to committed customer delivery dates. * Maintain constant communication with sales and purchasing departments. **Order and Continuous Improvement** * Maintain permanent order and cleanliness in the plant. * Ensure proper storage of materials, tools, and finished products. * Promote standardization of production processes. * Propose improvements to optimize time, costs, and resources. **Requirements** * Prior experience in production or supervision of operational personnel in a plant setting. * Basic knowledge of production processes, inventory management, and production control. * Ability to lead operational personnel and make quick decisions. * Organization, discipline, and results orientation. * Firm character and consistent presence on the plant floor. **Performance Indicators (KPIs)** * Production schedule adherence. * Accurate production recording. * Waste control and reduction. * Reliable and up-to-date inventories. * Consistent product quality. * On-time deliveries. * Compliance with safety standards. * Permanent order and cleanliness in the plant.
