**General Objective:**
Ensure regulatory compliance and technical implementation of conservation, mitigation, and ecosystem monitoring programs within the development polygon.
**Main Responsibilities:**
* Operations Supervision and Compliance
* Monitor that all development activities (tourism operations or maintenance) comply with the conditions stipulated in the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS).
* Conduct daily inspection rounds to identify potential negative impacts on the natural environment.
* Wildlife and Flora Management
* Implement wildlife management protocols (including specimen relocation if necessary) and flora rescue procedures.
* Supervise native species nurseries for reforestation and functional landscaping programs.
* During nesting season: Coordinate the sea turtle protection program (if applicable) or migratory bird monitoring.
* Coastal Ecosystem Monitoring
* Water quality control (sampling from swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and seawater).
* Monitor coastal dune health, preventing erosion and the use of invasive exotic vegetation.
* Supervise proper solid waste disposal and hazardous waste management.
* Deliver environmental awareness talks to operational staff and
* contractors.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Engineering, Marine Ecology, or related fields.
* Experience: 1–2 years in environmental supervision of construction projects, waste management, or biological monitoring programs in federal maritime-terrestrial zones (ZOFEMAT).
**Key Knowledge Areas:**
* Environmental legislation (LGEEPA, National Water Law, NOM-059).
* Identification of local flora and fauna (endemic and protected species).
* Basic GIS (QGIS or ArcGIS) and GPS handling for field surveys.
Salary: $30,000.00 – $31,000.00 per month
