At **Gendra**, we are looking for a **Senior AWS Architect** who not only masters the cloud but also possesses **strategic vision**, strong **management, documentation, and communication skills**, and wants to directly impact how the organization designs and scales its technology solutions. This role is critical to **defining standards, documenting architectural decisions, and aligning technology with business goals** at a leading company in mobility and transportation. **Location:** Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City. **Work Mode:** On-site Monday through Thursday, remote on Friday. What will be your mission? You will be responsible for **defining and governing the organization’s AWS architecture**, ensuring solutions are **secure, scalable, efficient, and well-documented**, enabling informed technical decision-making at both executive and operational levels. What will you do in this role? * Define and maintain the **AWS reference architecture** (landing zones, networking, security). * Establish **cloud standards and guidelines** for development and DevOps teams. * Create and maintain **clear, structured architectural documentation** (diagrams, workflows, ADRs). * Lead **architecture reviews and architecture committees**. * Align business requirements with viable technical solutions. * Support technical teams in implementing AWS architectures. * Promote **FinOps, automation, and Infrastructure as Code** practices. * Collaborate with technology vendors and partners. What we’re looking for in you * **+4 years of cloud architecture experience**, with strong focus on **AWS**. * Experience designing **secure, scalable, and highly available architectures**. * Strong ability to **document, standardize, and communicate technical decisions**. * Experience with **multi-account and hybrid architectures**. * Knowledge of **Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK**. * Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. * Preferred: experience in **FinOps, DevSecOps, or cloud governance**.
