




Summary: The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops, specifies, and maintains test equipment, software, and procedures for high-volume production, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement. Establish, troubleshoot, and improve production testing systems The Manufacturing Test Engineer develops, reverse engineers, specifies and/or acquires necessary test equipment, software, and procedures for high volume production and testing of goods. This role develops and maintains test software, technical specifications and documentation for such equipment per established methods and also develops documentation and procedures as necessary for employee training and ISO compliance. This individual will work closely with other Engineering and Manufacturing personnel and provide assistance as needed for implementing test systems into production. The Manufacturing Test Engineer will also assist with operation, maintenance, validation, troubleshooting, and repair of test equipment. * Establish, troubleshoot, and maintain testing systems for production lines. * Plan and implement continuous improvements to testing solutions throughout the product lifecycle. * Conduct verification, maintenance and validation of testing systems, providing documentation to ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. * Actively participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) decisions regarding manufacturing test strategies and develop implementation plans. * Reverse engineer, design and develop test methodologies and automated testing systems to meet quality and productivity objectives for NPI and ongoing process enhancements. * Collaborate with global R\&D and NPI project teams to plan, execute, and coordinate the launch of new products. * Create and support productivity tools, manufacturing data systems, and automated workflows to improve cross\-business efficiency. * Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, ensure timely development of new equipment, and effectively track and report on the status of ongoing projects. **MUST HAVE** * Hands\-on experience of test system development and software program development. * Proficient in programming languages, including but not limited to the C Family (C, C\+\+, Java, C\#), HTML, Visual Basic, Python, and NI (LabView, TestStand), PLC. – machines able to read, review and revise * Familiarity with electrical and electronic schematic and pneumatic systems. * Fluent in English and Spanish * Bachelors or Master's Degree in Engineering disciplines, preferably Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Software Engineering At least 7 years of relevant experience in a similar field. * **NICE TO HAVE** * Demonstrated proficiency of system design for test hardware or software with disciplined DFx and FMEA principles and methodologies * Demonstrates the abilities to produce useful engineering solutions for assigned problems in an independent manner. * Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and meet commitments effectively. * Excellent communication skills to convey needs, escalations, plans, and achievements across all levels of a corporate organization. * Capable of managing multiple issues simultaneously in a fast\-paced manufacturing environment. * Willingness and proactive at working in a hands\-on environment. * Strong problem\-solving skills with a proactive, self\-starting attitude. * Comfortable escalating issues and maintaining open communication with supervisors. * Willingness to take on new challenges and learn from the experience of coworkers.
