Description and details of activities * Develop, manage, and ensure execution of an effective cyclic counting program and provide results to management staff as needed. * Maintain full control of all “intricacies” related to raw materials. * Coordinate with Warehouse Coordinators, Material Handlers, and Production for the movement of raw materials. · * Work closely with QA and Purchasing to develop relevant processes and procedures. · Coordinate training to improve job performance efficiency by eliminating waste and redundancy. · * Report and track scrap. Work closely with Purchasing/Production to improve processes and reduce/eliminate waste and/or scrap. * Ensure consistency and accuracy in all processes and procedures related to raw materials. · Ensure all warehouse staff transactions are accurate and closed in a timely manner. * Develop and implement a cross-training program to ensure optimal coverage of all warehouse staff activities. * Assist in annual physical inventory audits. * Perform systematic transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and avoid excess, obsolete, and backordered inventory. * Work closely with Purchasing to understand urgency issues and provide necessary support to resolve all inventory and accounting issues promptly. * Develop and maintain reports as directed by management staff. * Process daily material receipts in the accounting system.
