Job Description and Responsibilities **Job Objective** Support the execution of general Human Resources department activities, with emphasis on recruitment and selection processes for operational staff, ensuring timely vacancy coverage and compliance with internal policies and current labor regulations. **Main Responsibilities** **Recruitment and Selection** * Post job openings on job boards (Empleo Nuevo, social media, local job boards). * Recruit operational staff. * Resume screening and initial interviews, reference checks. * Assemble candidate files. * Coordinate medical examinations, psychometric tests, and hiring procedures. * Monitor open positions and time-to-fill metrics. * Support job fairs and field recruitment (as applicable). **General Human Resources Functions** * Support onboarding, orientation, and hiring processes. * Maintain and update physical and digital employee files. * Assist with payroll-related incidents (hires, terminations, changes). * Track attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism. * Provide support to operational and administrative staff. * Assist in disciplinary procedures and enforcement of internal regulations. * Prepare HR reports and metrics (turnover, absenteeism, coverage). * Ensure compliance with internal policies and current labor legislation. * Support workplace climate initiatives and internal events. Experience and Requirements **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or related field. **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years in Human Resources, preferably in a maquiladora environment. * Demonstrable experience in operational recruitment. **Knowledge:** * Recruitment and selection processes. * Employee file management. * Federal Labor Law (basic knowledge). * HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism). **Tools:** * Microsoft Office suite (basic–intermediate Excel). * Recruitment platforms and social media. **Competencies and Skills** * Organization and follow-up. * Effective communication. * Ability to manage high volume of vacancies. * Results-oriented mindset. * Interpersonal skills and staff support orientation. * Confidentiality and professional ethics. * Proactivity and sense of urgency.
