If you love challenges, seek unrestricted development opportunities, and desire meaningful recognition, then you’ve come to the right place with Lear. **Position Title:** Assistant Controller **Location:** Casas Grandes, Chih., \| Alamedas Plant **MISSION:** Preparation and control of the annual budget and forecasts; supporting the Controller in performing required financial analyses; monitoring SOX controls; asset management; month-end close. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:** * Preparation and control of budget and forecast. * Calculation and control of expense budget. * Responsible for payroll calculation and providing explanations for Actual vs. Forecast variances. * Financial analysis as required by the plant operations team. * Tracking action plans and proposing financial improvement suggestions. * SOX audits per corporate guidelines in Materials, Quality, Inventory, and Process areas. * Review, audit, and control of fixed assets. * Asset audit and capitalization, including new acquisitions. * SOX Champion for plant certifications. * Determination of monthly expenses based on analysis in QAD, COUPA, GRS, and other necessary systems. * Preparation of Plant Financial MOS reports. * Responsible for preparing Program PPRs and explaining variances. * Determination of selling price and program costs; sales/material/expenses risk analysis. * Responsible for coordinating the team to achieve Finance and Operations objectives on time and as planned. * Coordinate with all departments to conduct physical inventories of raw materials and tool crib. Responsible for coordinating the plant’s month-end close. * **TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:** * Completed university degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * 2\+ years of experience in a similar position. * Experience in budget preparation, forecasting, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). * Financial analysis skills and strong communication abilities. * Analytical mindset, high sense of urgency, proactive attitude, results-oriented, and organized. * MS Office, Excel. * Intermediate English. \#LI\-DNI
