You plan, develop and execute capital projects by supporting technical developments, feasibility perspectives of engineering\-related activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to support growth, world\-class manufacturing and productivity with the highest levels of quality, safety and environmental requirements. You will follow Mondelēz business and innovation processes in project management and ensure that Mondelēz standards are adhered to.
**How you will contribute**
To ensure that accurate budgets, plans and fit\-for\-purpose technical solutions are delivered, you will work with key stakeholders to define and deliver the capital and technical agendas during the development phases of capital investment projects. You will develop capital budgets according to the contract and forecast cash flow, ensure that engineering developments and standards are implemented, and support the development and implementation of state\-of\-the art processes and equipment strategies to optimize resources, harmonize assets and rollout best practices. In this role, you will support capital project execution and will be accountable for the quality and results of the capital projects per Mondelēz standards, and our business and innovation processes in project management.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our electrical infrastructure—from our main 115,000V substation to the implementation of new systems and equipment. This critical position will guarantee operational continuity, electrical safety, and support for future expansions, minimizing downtime due to electrical failures.
Key Responsibilities
* **Review and Analysis of Drawings:** Conduct thorough reviews of existing electrical drawings, identifying areas for improvement and compatibility with future expansions.
* **Management of Existing Infrastructure:** Proactively interact with the current electrical infrastructure, understanding its operation and limitations.
* **Expansion Planning:** Evaluate and plan the impact of adding new laboratories, offices, production lines, and HVAC systems on the existing electrical network.
* **Electrical Design and Calculations:** Lead precise electrical design and calculations for expanding new offices, production lines, and HVAC systems, ensuring efficiency and safety.
* **Failure Prevention:** Develop and implement engineering solutions to prevent electrical failures and minimize operational downtime, ensuring business continuity.
* **Electrical Panel Implementation:** Design and implement new electrical panels, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
* **Lighting and Monitoring Systems:** Manage the design and implementation of lighting systems, VMS (Video Management/Monitoring Systems), cameras, lights, outlets, and energy metering systems.
* **Technical Documentation:** Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, electrical drawings, and diagrams.
Requirements
Education and Experience* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
* Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments.
* Demonstrable experience with high-voltage systems, specifically with 115,000V substations.
* Experience in designing and implementing expansion or modification projects for electrical infrastructure.
Technical Skills* Advanced proficiency in CAD software, preferably AutoCAD, for electrical drawing design and review.
* In-depth knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NOM, etc.).
* Practical experience in electrical load calculations, distribution system design, protection systems, and grounding.
* Familiarity with electrical automation, control, and monitoring systems.
* Knowledge of lighting systems, VMS, cameras, and energy metering.
