Position Summary: Provide comprehensive technical support for the technological infrastructure, ensuring continuous and secure operation of systems. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technology vendor evaluation and management **Systems Department Manager.** **Responsibilities:** **General:** Provide comprehensive technical support for the company’s technological infrastructure, ensuring continuous and secure operation of IT systems and services through implementation of technical solutions aligned with business needs. **Specific:** * Install, configure, maintain, and monitor physical and/or virtual servers. * Diagnose and repair hardware and computing equipment failures. * Administer and maintain email and hosting systems. * Design, implement, and document data backup and recovery schemes. * Configure and maintain connectivity for meeting rooms (videoconferencing, audio, network, and devices). * Evaluate technology acquisition models (leasing vs. purchasing), considering both technical and economic factors. * Manage relationships and negotiations with technology vendors. * Implement basic information security measures and data encryption. **Profile:** **Education:** Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. **Technical Knowledge:** \- Hardware installation and repair. \- Server administration and maintenance. \- Email system administration. \- Basic information security and data encryption. \- LAN network infrastructure. \- Data backup and recovery systems. **Software:** \- Linux operating systems (basic \- intermediate level) \- Server administration tools. \- Email and hosting platforms. \- Data backup and recovery software. **Desired Experience:** \- At least one year of experience in Linux environments. \- Experience in technology evaluation and procurement. \- Management of technology vendors. \- Support for network infrastructure and meeting room devices.
