**Position: Editorial Graphic Designer**
Location: Puebla, Pue.
Mode: In-person
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Contract type: Full-time
Design, layout, and produce graphic materials for magazines, advertising campaigns, and digital media, ensuring visual quality, brand consistency, and the editorial style of **Mundo Ejecutivo**.
The editorial graphic designer is responsible for transforming journalistic and commercial content into visually appealing, modern pieces aligned with the publication’s identity.
Responsibilities
* Design and layout printed and digital editions of the magazine and special editorial issues.
* Develop graphic and creative concepts for campaigns, covers, sections, and visual communication projects.
* Adapt materials to various formats (web, social media, banners, presentations, etc.).
* Collaborate with editorial, digital, and commercial departments on integrated projects.
* Propose graphic innovations to enhance the visual experience for readers and clients.
* Apply editorial grids, visual hierarchy, and composition principles to articles, features, and interviews.
* Design magazine covers with both editorial and commercial focus.
* Integrate photography, typography, and graphic elements to create compelling visual narratives.
* Prepare final files for professional printing (prepress, color profiles, bleed, and correct export).
* Maintain consistency in the graphic line and editorial style across each issue.
Profile and characteristics for editorial magazine design
* Experience in **printed and digital magazine design and layout**.
* Proficiency in **editorial grids, paragraph styles, and advanced typographic composition**.
* Ability to structure **long-form articles, features, interviews, and special sections**.
* Visual judgment for **balancing text, photography, and infographics**.
* Knowledge of **contemporary editorial design and trends in business or lifestyle media**.
* Experience working with **editorial deadlines**.
* Ability to develop **visual proposals for special issues or supplements**.
* Attention to detail and focus on editorial quality.
Essential
* Excellent spelling, reading comprehension, and proactivity.
Minimum education
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
Minimum experience
2 years in editorial media, advertising agencies, or corporate design.
