




**Position Objective:** We are seeking a proactive and analytical **Senior Accountant** to lead and supervise the company's accounting and financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information, compliance with tax obligations, and the generation of strategic reports that support decision-making. **Main Responsibilities:** * **General Accounting:** Record, classify, and summarize all financial transactions of the company accurately and promptly. * **Bank Reconciliations:** Perform and oversee monthly reconciliations for all bank accounts. * **Payroll:** Supervise and/or process payroll calculations and payments, related taxes, and contributions to IMSS and INFONAVIT. * **Tax Obligations:** Prepare, calculate, and accurately file monthly tax returns (VAT, Income Tax) and annual returns (Annual Tax Return) with the SAT on time. * **Accounts Payable and Receivable:** Manage the complete cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring optimal cash flow. * **Inventory:** Control and reconcile inventory, making necessary accounting adjustments. * **Financial Reporting:** Generate monthly financial reports (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement) for management. * **Audits:** Coordinate and serve as the primary liaison during external and internal audit processes, providing required documentation. * **Budgeting:** Assist in the preparation and monitoring of the company’s annual budget. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Maintain up-to-date knowledge and ensure compliance with Mexican tax, labor, and financial laws (NIF, CFF, LISR, LFT). * **Education:** **Desired Competencies:** * **High professional ethics and confidentiality** when handling sensitive information. * **Organization and attention to detail** to manage multiple tasks with high accuracy. * **Analytical skills and problem-solving ability.** * **Teamwork and strong communication skills** to interact effectively with different departments. * **Proactivity** and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. * Professional degree and license **REQUIRED** in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * **Experience:** * Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role as General Accountant, Senior Accountant, or Accounting Manager. * Solid experience applying Mexican Financial Information Standards (NIF) and the Mexican tax framework. * Experience managing full-cycle accounting for a company (end-to-end). * **Essential Technical Skills:** * **Advanced Excel proficiency** (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). * Expertise in accounting ERP systems (e.g., CONTPAQi, SAP, SIAP, Oracle, etc.).. * In-depth knowledge of the SAT (online portal, electronic invoicing CFDI, tax mailbox). * Experience in calculating and issuing CFDI payroll receipts.
