**What Your Day Will Be Like** We are looking for an Engineer to implement and manage technological infrastructure in industrial asset management projects. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and secure network solutions for power plant environments, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal performance of OAM systems. As an OAM engineer, you will be responsible for activities during the proposal phase, order execution, commissioning, and product delivery to the customer. You will communicate with offer management, customers, specialized departments, and the plant commissioning team. Depending on the project scope, you will be responsible for connecting to data sources and configuring various monitoring methods such as rules, anomaly detection, image analysis, or vibration diagnostics. Due to the various implementation options for OAM\-AD, business travel may be required for commissioning and customer training. **How You Will Excel** * Design and implement network architectures for industrial data collection * Evaluate engineering documents, e.g., DTIs, thermal balance diagrams, design data of power plant components, detailed component drawings, and distributed control system signal lists. * Configure and manage Windows/Linux servers for hosting OAM applications * Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual server infrastructure * Manage databases and critical network services * Implement OT cybersecurity measures according to industrial standards (IEC 62443\) * Provide remote and on\-site technical support to customers **What You Bring** * Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field * CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification or equivalent * Additional certifications valued: CCNP or similar * Knowledge of power plant business / power plant components * Experience in industrial network administration (OT \- Operational Technology) * Proven experience with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, OPC\-UA, DNP3\) * Administration of Windows Server and Linux servers * Knowledge of Data cleaning, Data Mining * Experience in power plant environments or critical infrastructure * Knowledge of hybrid network architectures (on\-premise and cloud) * Design and implementation of LAN/WAN networks in industrial environments * Configuration and administration of network equipment: routers, switches, firewalls * Server virtualization * OT network security: implementation of DMZ, VLANs, perimeter security policies * Cloud connectivity. * Infrastructure monitoring: network and server monitoring tools * Data pipeline management: configuration of data flows for analysis and diagnostics **About the Team** Omnivise Asset Management (OAM) is Siemens Energy’s integrated software suite to support customers in digitalizing and automating their maintenance strategies, as well as improving the reliability of power generation plants.
