A leading company in the metal-mechanical industry with over 64 years of market experience is seeking, due to expansion: **PROCESS ENGINEER FOR MANUFACTURING DEPARTMENT** **JOB OBJECTIVE** Optimize, control, and improve manufacturing processes—including metalworking operations, shearing, stamping, tube cutting, punching, water sanding, laser cutting, woodworking shop, and printing area—to ensure efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and stable production flow for display products (Mexico and USA). **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Commute time no longer than 50 minutes. (We are located 5 minutes from Adolf Horn and Periférico.) * Prior experience in a similar position. * Industrial Engineering degree. * Office software proficiency. * Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks). * Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, industrial ergonomics, and process analysis. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to clearly document processes. **GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES** * Time studies * Line balancing * Tool inventory and control within the department * Fixture design * Personnel training on processes * Process control and standardization **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Validate prototypes across various departments to ensure manufacturability. * In the woodworking department: standardize cutting, assembly, drilling, sanding, and finishing processes. * Standardize printing processes across different materials. * Monitor and control process parameters (laser, punching, belt sander, woodworking area). * Implement **Lean tools** (5S, Kaizen, SMED, Poka-Yoke, line balancing). * Identify and eliminate **bottlenecks** in production lines and material flow. * Request **new materials, consumables, and specialized tools** for new or optimized processes. * Manage inventories of **tooling, fixtures, dies, laser consumables, and abrasives**. **BENEFITS AND ADDITIONAL PERKS** * Salary: $12,000–$15,000 MXN per month. * Statutory benefits. * Life insurance. * Direct employment with the company. * Educational support. * Psychological support. * Parking. * Excellent internal career development opportunities. * Ongoing training.
