**Position Objective** Supervise, coordinate and ensure the proper operation of the mechanical workshop, guaranteeing preventive and corrective maintenance of diesel or LP gas engine units, as well as the efficiency, discipline and productivity of the work team. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise and assign tasks to workshop personnel (mechanics, assistants and technicians). * Diagnose mechanical failures in LP gas engines and validate repairs. * Plan and follow up on preventive and corrective maintenance. * Verify the proper use of spare parts, tools and equipment. * Ensure the quality of work performed within established timeframes. * Maintain order, cleanliness and compliance with safety regulations in the workshop. * Review unit reports and coordinate performance tests. * Request and control spare parts inventories. * Keep logs and records of work, costs and times. * Train, guide and evaluate technical staff. * Report incidents, progress and needs to management or leadership. **Requirements** * Automotive mechanical technician, mechanical engineering or related field (desirable). * Minimum of **3 to 5 years** of experience in mechanical workshops with diesel or LP gas engines. * Knowledge in: * Diesel and LP gas fuel systems. * Electrical, hydraulic and electronic systems. * Diagnostic scanning (desirable). * Maintenance programs. * Proven experience leading work teams. * Basic knowledge of Excel and technical reports. * Availability to work under pressure and resolve operational issues. **Skills and Competencies** * Leadership and personnel management. * Decision-making and problem-solving. * Effective communication. * Organization and administrative control. * Responsibility and commitment. * Focus on safety and quality. * Teamwork. **Desirable Qualities** * Proactive. * Organized and disciplined. * Results-oriented. * Ability to negotiate and coordinate with suppliers. * Service-oriented attitude.
