1. **Production Planning and Scheduling** * Design weekly or monthly production plans based on demand. * Set daily production targets. * Coordinate process sequences: cutting, skiving, assembling, injection/sole, finishing. 2. **Resource Management** * Supervise the efficient use of materials (leather, soles, threads, etc.). 3. **Personnel Supervision** * Coordinate and supervise production staff (cutters, assemblers, etc.). * Assign tasks and shifts. * Motivate the team and resolve operational conflicts. 4. **Quality Control** * Ensure boots meet quality standards (finish, durability, appearance). * Implement inspections at different stages of the process. * Manage correction of defective products. 5. **Process Optimization** * Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements. * Apply lean manufacturing techniques (Lean Manufacturing) if possible. * Improve production times without sacrificing quality. 6. **Compliance with Standards and Safety** * Ensure factory safety and hygiene regulations are followed. * Train personnel in good manufacturing practices and safety. * Monitor raw material and work-in-progress inventory. * Request supplies based on production requirements.
