Oversee and ensure the proper implementation, compliance, and continuous improvement of safety and food safety management systems at the distribution center, guaranteeing adherence to internal and external regulations, timely response to audits, maintenance of current certifications, and execution of preventive and corrective actions that protect personnel's physical integrity, fruit safety, and the work environment. #### **Responsibilities** * Manage safety and food safety management systems, ensuring their operation, updating, and compliance with regulatory and certification requirements * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and respond to inspections and audits from certification bodies and regulatory agencies, both internal and external * Calculate and issue operational statistics, analyzing results to monitor compliance with safety and food safety processes * Manage certification processes for the workplace with relevant organizations (PRIMUS, CCOF, CTPAT, OEA, STPS, among others), ensuring compliance with requirements * Design, coordinate, and conduct training and education programs on safety and food safety for operational and administrative staff at the DC * Implement and maintain food safety management systems, such as the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) system, in accordance with standards * Plan and execute monitoring and control programs for cleaning and disinfection procedures in production and storage areas * Plan and supervise the execution of microbiological sampling and analysis of facilities, ensuring results are reliable and integrated into the food safety system * Submit internally and **externally** all documents related to labor and/or regulatory compliance. #### **Candidate Profile** * Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related engineering or bachelor’s degree * Professional experience in position: More than 3 years * Professional experience in functional area: Industrial Safety, Food Safety * Areas of experience: Procedures, STPS regulations, SAGARPA, IMSS, SEMARNAT, CONAGUA, CTPAT, CCOF, PRIMUS, microbiology, environmental management system, occupational health, asset security, food management systems * Advanced knowledge of HACCP system * STPS (advanced) * CTPAT (advanced) * FDA (intermediate) * SEMARNAT (intermediate) * PSQI (advanced) * Asset security (intermediate) * Microbiological sampling / Advanced * Technology handling / Advanced * Office suite / Intermediate * English / Intermediate-to-advanced level * Experience managing personnel (years): More than 2 years #### **About Driscolls** Driscoll's is the global market leader for fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and blackberries.
