Position Summary: We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of tractors and trailers, coordinate technical staff, and ensure vehicle availability. Our transportation services cover the entire national territory and the United States of North America through specific commercial alliances. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of tractors and trailers. * Develop and monitor the maintenance schedule. * Coordinate workshop technical staff. * Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic failures. * Control inventory of spare parts, tools, and consumables. * Authorize purchase requisitions for spare parts. * Verify that repairs comply with safety standards. * Reduce downtime and ensure vehicle availability. * Maintain work order and service log records. * Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations. * Attend internal and external audits (if applicable). * Evaluate performance of supervised personnel. * Coordinate roadside assistance when necessary. Technical Knowledge · Advanced diesel mechanics. · Tractor electrical and electronic systems. · Air brake systems. · Suspension and transmission systems. · Diagnostic scanning. · Transportation regulations (SCT, applicable NOMs). · Preventive maintenance control. · Maintenance software proficiency (desirable). Education · Diesel Mechanics Technician, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. · Diesel engine certifications (desirable). Experience · Minimum 3–5 years in a similar position. · Proven experience in fifth-wheel unit maintenance. · Experience managing technical staff.
