**Job Description** **JOB DETAILS** **Daily wage $513\.33** **Monday to Friday schedule** **Rotating every 2 weeks: Day shift: 7:00 am to 7:00 pm \- Night shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am** **DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify full PPE compliance before entering the plant * Attend daily safety meetings * Check pending parts at the workstation, verifying quantity and part type * Position parts on the workstation using a hoist or crane, depending on part size * Regularly inspect the torch tip for cleanliness; clean if dirty with grease or burrs using needle-nose pliers to prevent clogging * Weld missing sections and flip parts using the crane or hoist to weld the opposite side * Arc-air gouge defective parts (e.g., porosity) on both sides using carbon arc and carbon rod, then clean parts with pneumatic air hammer and re-weld * Polish defective areas such as excess weld using grinding tools, then clean parts with pneumatic air hammer * Manually replace welding wire spools when depleted * Mark completed parts with stamped letters or codes indicating the welder’s identity * Place finished parts on one side of the workbenches using the hoist or crane * Implement the 5S methodology in the work area \= Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain * Substitute for crane operators to supply parts to welders and painters * Participate in Kaizen events or continuous improvement initiatives **Requirements** * Must be of legal age * Completed junior high school education * Experience with micro-wire welding (GMAW) * Carbon arc gouging * Welding with 0\.45 and 0\.52 wire * Shift availability **Additional Information** **Address:** ROGELIO GONZALEZ CABALLERO 600, PARQUE INDUSTRIAL STIVA, 66626 CD APODACA,N.L.
