Management of weekly payroll processing and various payroll types At ***Caty Bakery***, a 100% Monterrey-based company offering the highest-quality cakes with exceptional flavor and a tradition dating back to 1974—where we strive daily to improve—we seek your talent as a **PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT!!** **Position Objective:** To ensure accurate and timely calculation, validation, and processing of payroll for all employees of the bakery and its branches, ensuring compliance with current labor, tax, and social security legislation. **Purpose** The payroll accountant’s role is crucial to the company’s human resources and financial management, as their work directly impacts employee satisfaction and operational legality. * Payroll Processing: Calculate and process weekly payroll for various categories (confidential, executive, general employees). * Incident Management: Collect, validate, and apply personnel incidents across the plant and branches covering 350 employees, including: * Employee onboarding, termination, and salary adjustments filed with IMSS. * Disabilities, vacations, leaves of absence, and overtime hours. * Calculation of severance payments and settlements upon termination of employment. * Tax and Legal Compliance: Ensure correct calculation of earnings, deductions, income tax (ISR), and social security contributions (IMSS, SAR, Infonavit). * Reporting and Recordkeeping: Generate reports derived from the payroll process and organize fiscal and labor documentation (e.g., stamped payroll receipts). * Customer/Employee Support: Provide clear and timely information regarding payments, deductions, and procedures, maintaining strict confidentiality of information. Education and Experience: Completed bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. Minimum 2\-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably managing payroll across multiple branches or within the food/retail industry. **Experience and Knowledge:** * Legislation: Solid knowledge of current Mexican labor law (Federal Labor Law), tax law (Income Tax Law), and social security law (Social Security Law, Infonavit, Fonacot). * Payroll Systems: Proficiency in payroll and human resources management software (e.g., SUA, IDSE, NOI, or proprietary systems used by the company). * Computer Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools. * Accounting: Understanding of payroll reconciliation with accounting records. * **Required Skills and Attributes** * Attention to Detail: Critical ability to identify errors and ensure calculation accuracy. * Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. * Organization: Maintain orderly records and document filing (physical and digital). * Confidentiality: Absolute discretion in handling sensitive information and personal data. * Communication: Interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments and clients of the service-providing company. * Proactivity: Stay updated on changes in labor and tax regulations. **Compensation** * **Work Schedule:** Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturdays until 1:00 p.m. * **Salary:** $16,000 starting monthly, up to $20,000 monthly upon successful completion of the 3-month evaluation * **Workplace:** Félix U.
