Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in manufacturing. **Job Title** ------------- ### Trainee Manufacturing Engineer – DT **What Your Day Will Look Like** -------------------- ### The Manufacturing Trainee is responsible for supporting strategic projects within the manufacturing organization in León, specifically in the distribution transformer area. This role focuses on learning production processes and directly participating in automation and digitalization initiatives on the shop floor. The trainee will contribute through activities such as process mapping, data collection and analysis, as well as supporting the implementation, testing, and validation of new technologies and digital tools. Additionally, the trainee will collaborate in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within existing processes. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on manufacturing experience, working closely with engineers and technicians to understand processes while developing technical and analytical skills in an industrial environment—all aligned with Siemens Energy’s guidelines. **Your Responsibilities** ------------------------------ ### * Support automation and digitalization projects in manufacturing (data collection, organization, and analysis) * Assist in testing, validation, and implementation of new automated equipment or digital tools * Contribute to generating technical documentation, user guides, or training materials * Participate in mapping, analyzing, and documenting production processes * Identify improvement opportunities through basic process analysis and shop-floor observation * Support operational activities to gain hands-on experience in the industrial environment * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, production) **Requirements for the Position** ------------------------------------------- ### * Currently enrolled in an Engineering program (PREFERRED: Mechatronics, Industrial, Electrical, Systems, or related field) * No prior professional experience required (role focused on development) * Interest in manufacturing, automation, and digitalization * Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes * Intermediate level English (spoken and written) * Availability to work on-site in León * Soft skills (MANDATORY): Agile learning, analytical thinking, problem solving, teamwork, communication, and proactivity * Technical knowledge: Data analysis, process analysis, Microsoft Office (primarily Excel) **Let’s Talk About Us** ------------------------ ### "Let’s Make a Different Tomorrow Today" is our true commitment at Siemens Energy—to all our customers and employees—on the path toward a sustainable, CO2-neutral future. **MORE INFORMATION** ------------------- ### Energize.
